Elina’s Priorities

Safer Schools

Every child deserves a school where they feel safe and ready to learn. Elina brings 12 years in community and public safety, including work with at-risk youth and will champion community safety officers in our schools.

Quality Education

A child’s postal code should never set the ceiling on their education. Elina will press to close the gaps between schools so every classroom delivers the same quality education.

Classrooms for Learning

No student learns while looking over their shoulder. Elina will fight for clear conduct standards, faster response to harassment and follow-through when a family reports a problem.

Oversight and Accountability

Elina brings corporate leadership experience. She will scrutinize spending, track whether programs work and report back to parents.
